Weekday Schedule:
The middle of the night show is likely to have the least amount of listeners out of all the shows. The audience who listen to it are people who have gone out partying. The majority of Capital listeners will be asleep. This also means that there will be no conversation in this show.
This show will have hardly any talk as not many people will be awake at this time. It will mostly consist of music which is from the station's playlist.
The 4 hour Breakfast Show is the main show of the day for the station. It is the time where people are starting to wake up and go to work/school. There are 2 presenters in order for there to be conversation and banter. There is also a lot of popular music played, as well as games/competitions. This show is likely to have the most listeners out of all the shows.
This show plays a lot of Capital's playlist's music. At this time a lot of the listeners are at school or work, therefore there is not so much chat.
The Bassman plays the biggest songs around, whats on the charts and a lot of DJ songs.
This show consists of the most popular music in the charts at the moment, as well as quite a lot of talk. It is around the time that children are coming home from school, so will therefore play the music that teenagers like.
The evening show consists of a lot of remix's and loud songs like club songs. Marvin Humes, who's show it is, is a DJ himself, meaning the show is likely to consist of songs by DJ's.
This late night show plays Capital's playlist and also includes interviews with worldwide artists and exclusive performances by them.
Saturday Schedule:
This show will probably consist of only Capital's favourite songs and no chat as it is very late and most people are asleep. However the people who are awake and out are going to want to listen to loud/club music.
At this time in the morning, most people will still be asleep as it is the weekend. Williams is therefore likely to not be speaking a lot, however playing tunes from Capital's playlist.
The Breakfast Show on a Saturday starts 2 hours later than it does on a weekday. This is because it is the weekend and people will be having a lie-in.
This show contains music which are club tracks to get the listeners in the mood for their Saturday night and to enjoy their weekend.
